Daredevil made his first appearance in 1964. He was created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett.
Daredevil's alter ego is Matt Murdock.
Daredevil's uniqueness as a superhero is his blindness, caused by contact with radioactive spillage as a child.
Because of his accident, his other senses were enhanced to super-level including his bat-like echo location,
allowing him to navigate perfectly.
Although this method has its weaknesses it allows him to see in the dark giving him a distinct advantage over his adversaries.
He is also able to detect people’s heart rate, allowing him to interrogate villains like a living polygraph machine.
His acute sense of touch allows him to feel even the ink on documents, allowing him to read without the help of braille. His sense of smell allows
him to follow scents, making him efficient in pursuit.
By day Matt Murdock works as a freelance lawyer allowing him to follow crime full time, exacting justice on villains who are untouchable by the law.
Daredevil's main goal is to bring down the villain responsible for his father's death, the King Pin a.k.a Wilson Fisk.
One of Daredevil's most hated enemies is Bullseye, King Pin's personal assassin and the man responsible for the death of two of Daredevil's love interests.
One of which was Elektra, a fellow assassin known to have taken a crack at many super heroes, including wolverine and Spider-man.
