Leadership

At HERO, leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about hustle, heart, and a whole lot of fun. Our leadership team brings together decades of experience in healthcare technology, operations, and service excellence. But what really sets us apart is the way we lead: with empathy, energy, and a relentless drive to empower the people around us. We’ve been in the trenches, we know what works, and we aren’t afraid to shake things up to get it done better. Solutions are in our DNA, and we are wired to get things done. When you’re powered by purpose and passion, anything’s possible.

Peter Bonin

CEO

Peter Bonin has been a force in the healthcare technology space for nearly four decades, blending hands-on expertise with bold vision and unwavering purpose. He began his career as a service technician, learning the inner workings of medical devices and the vital role they play in delivering patient care. But it didn’t take long before Peter saw opportunities to do things better – and bigger.

That drive led him to found Tenacore, a medical device repair and manufacturing company that quickly became a trusted name in clinical engineering departments around the world. Under Peter’s leadership, Tenacore grew from a scrappy startup to a global operation, supporting hospitals with depot repair, parts, and device refurbishment, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality, FDA compliance, and ISO 13485 certification. Peter navigated everything from third-party partnerships to OEM collaborations, and led the company through successful mergers and acquisitions before ultimately selling Tenacore in 2020.

But Peter wasn’t done. With a fresh vision and a renewed mission to reshape the industry, he founded HERO Business Inc. to create a service company that would be unapologetically people-first and relentlessly solutions-driven. HERO is the next evolution, a healthcare technology management partner built on heart, hustle, and high standards.

As CEO, Peter brings both seasoned leadership and a fearless entrepreneurial spirit to the HERO team.

He continues to champion innovation in service delivery, while building a culture where technicians are empowered, clients are prioritized, and the old way of doing things is left in the dust. When he’s not driving HERO forward, Peter can be found exploring the outdoors with his family. He’s been married for 23 years and is a proud dad to two amazing adult children.

Kevin Lynskey

President

Kevin Lynskey’s journey in healthcare technology management began in 2004 in the heart of Central Ohio, where he cut his teeth as a biomedical equipment technician with Genesis Technology Partners. Guided by incredible mentors and a fierce drive to do more, Kevin quickly rose through the ranks—not just fixing equipment, but building teams, launching new programs, and pushing the boundaries of what a clinical engineering department could be. From mentoring fresh techs to pioneering early cybersecurity protocols, Kevin wasn’t just part of the industry—he was helping shape it.

In 2015, Kevin and his family made the leap to sunny Southern California, where he led a sprawling region of nearly 50 technicians. There, his passion for operational excellence and people-first leadership came to life. He developed a reputation for building high-performing teams that not only delivered results, but genuinely cared about the mission and each other.

Fast forward to 2023—Kevin reconnected with longtime friend and fellow industry leader, Peter Bonin. The two shared a vision: to build something bold, something better, something different. That vision became HERO. Today, Kevin helps lead HERO’s evolution into a world-class service organization that’s transforming the HTM space one partnership at a time.

Kevin lives in Irvine, California with his wife Tiffany and their two boys, Kallen and Owen. When he’s not driving growth at HERO, he’s probably ripping down a mountain on a snowboard, jamming out on the drums in his garage, coaching on the baseball field, or chasing sunsets at the beach with his family. And if there’s a good rock show in town, you can bet he’s there, front row.
